How to evaluate LED displays?

A LED screen is mainly from the following several aspects to sign:

1.the flatness: the flatness of display surface should be within 1mm, to ensure that the display image is not distorted. The visual angle of locally convex or concave will result in the display of the dead angle. Flatness is mainly decided by the production process.

2.Brightness and visual angle: indoor full color display brightness to above 800cd/m, the brightness of the outdoor full color in more than 1500cd/m, to ensure the normal work of the image display, or because the brightness is too low and can’t see the display. The brightness of the size is mainly determined by a LED tube core. The visual angle depends on the size of the display screen of the audience, therefore, the bigger the better. The size of the viewing angle is mainly determined by the encapsulation of the tube core.

3.White balance effect: white balance effect is one of the most important indicators of display. Study on red green blue shown that RGB color ratio of 3:6:1 can show the pure white. The little deviation in actual percentage will result in white balance deviation. The general should pay attention to whether the bias of blue in white, the yellowish green. White balance is mainly decided by the display control system, tube core also influence the reducing of color.

4.The reduction of color: color reduction refers to the reducing display to the screen color, both display color and color from playback source of highly consistent, so as to ensure the authenticity of the image.

5.There is no mosaic, mosaic dead dot phenomenon: mosaic refers to the constant light appears on the display or normally black square, in a word, module necrosis phenomenon. The main reason is that the display used the connector with bad quality. Dead dot is the single point with the constant light or constant dark appears in the display. The number of dead dot mainly decided by the tube core is good or bad.

6.Color patch: color patch refers to the obvious color difference exist in adjacent modules, the unit of color transition is module. What mainly cause the color phenomenon are the poor control system, low grey level and lower scanning frequency.
